The customer just purchased a home with an existing system in place. The pressure was sporadic and would fluctuate. There was an odor, staining, and the water test showed bacteria. The current system was very old and was not appropriate given the water test results.

FONTUS first installed a new pressure tank, then removed the existing system to address the pressure issue. We then installed a high-efficiency water softener with odor removing media so the staining and odor would be resolved. Typically with bacteria found, we like to use ultraviolet (UV) light. Upon further investigation, we found the well cap to be broken, allowing pretty much everything into the well. We installed a new sanitary well cap and retested and found that the bacteria issue was no longer something we needed to address! Because FONTUS took a few minutes to inspect the entire system and troubleshoot along the way, we were able to save the customer $1,500!!
